Singapore becomes first Asian country to get HTC Chacha

HTC today launched Android powered Facebook centric smartphone Chacha in Singapore, making it the first Asian country to get it. HTC Salsa, which was announced alongside Chacha at MWC, is already available in India and Taiwan, will be available in Singapore sometime this month.

Chacha has been released in collaboration with telecom operator Singtel and is available starting today at a recommended retail price of S$438 without contract.
