Samsung Galaxy S2 sales top 120,000 in South Korea [First 72 hours]

Samsung’s latest Android flagship has gotten to a fantastic start in South Korea. According to the latest shipping numbers, Korea’s top three telecom operators sold 120,000 units of Samsung Galaxy S II in the country within first 72 hours of the availability.

While SK Telecom shipped 65,000, KT 45,000 and LG U Plus sold 15,000 units. To put the numbers in perspective original Samsung Galaxy S sold over 50,000 units in first 72 hours, but it was launched only one telecom operator SK Telecom.

With this start, we can only imagine the sales in rest 119 countries, which will see the Galaxy S2 launch.
