Google has announced that Nexus S will soon get the Video Chat support in Google Talk via the Android 2.3.4 update. The update will be rolled out to all Nexus S phones in the coming weeks. Company also announced that rest of the Android 2.3+ devices will get the update in future.

Android 2.3.4 comes with the much awaited video chat support. You can make video calls over a 3G or 4G data network (if your carrier supports it) or over Wi-Fi.

As the update binaries have already been pushed to AOSP, it won’t take much time for the update to appear in CyanogenMod or other custom firmwares.
