It seems in next couple of days, we might see the rollout of Google ebookstore in more countries. The reason behind this hunch is the sudden visibility of Google ebooks in Android Market.
Living in India, I have never seen Google ebooks in Android Market, as the feature was only live in United States and so was standalone Google ebookstore. It might be a test rollout before the actual launch, but Google Book Android app is still not available in India, so I was really able to download any ebooks.
I hope that Google officially make it live soon. If you don’t know about Google eBookstore, it was launched last year in December, and since then has only been available in United States. It has some 3 million ebooks. How many of you have seen ebooks [even though they are not available] in Android Market in the recent times?
