Samsung today announced that it has filed patent lawsuits against Apple, which include infringement of its five patents. “Samsung is responding actively to the legal action taken against us in order to protect our intellectual property and to ensure our continued innovation and growth in the mobile communications business,” company said in a statement.
Earlier Apple has filed cases alleging that Samsung Galaxy S smartphone and Galaxy Tabs are blatant copies of its i-products.

I’m sure we were all waiting for this. I expect Samsung to file more, they are one of the largest patent holders in the world.
