Samsung Galaxy S Gingerbread update no longer rolling out

If you thought you would be lucky to get Gingerbread on your Galaxy S soon, but you are out of luck here. Vodafone UK has announced that Samsung has stopped the roll out of Gingerbread update for all versions, so telecom operator’s version will also not get the update.

There is no specific reason cited for this halt in update roll-out. We hope that Samsung comes out with a official statement on this and clear the air regarding update schedule.
