Samsung to launch Google TVs with its own processors

Google might finally get another major TV manufacturer to its kitty. According to a report in Bloomberg, Samsung has finalized its plan to launch Google TV devices, after search engine giant lifted restriction regarding the use of Intel processors.

Samsung will now release Google TVs and other devices with its own processor rather than using Intel’s.  Google TV hasn’t really been successful since its launch last year, but entry of Samsung might change the dynamics. Company even showcased Google TV products at last month’s Consumer Electronics Show.

Sony is the other main Google TV product manufacturer.
