MSI to launch WindPad series Honeycomb tablet in June [Update]

Update: So the news is confirmed! It is called WindPad 100A and was shown at CeBIT. Find an image below with Android 2.2 on the tab, it will have Honeycomb at the launch.

Taiwanese PC maker Micro-Star International (MSI) will soon release an Android Honeycomb powered tablet. Named WindPad, the tablet will be launched on June 1.

The Android device is priced USD 399 and is among the first Honeycomb tablets to cost less than an iPad.

The 10.1-inch touchscreen tablet has a battery life of eight hours and comes with accelerometers, auto light sensor, and Wi-Fi. It weighs 800 grams and is 13 mm at its thinnest point. In addition, the model uses Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.
