Motorola Milestone gets Gingerbread port

Advertisements

Milestone users might still be waiting for the official FroYo release, but developers have ported Gingerbread to this smartphone.  This is a very early build of the ROM, but you can still test it out if you want.

Known problems:

– GPS is not working. A-GPS works. I suggest turning off GPS satellites location on system settings.

– Internal compass is showing inverted positions (north/south switched).

– Video recording at high quality is not 100% yet.

Rest everything seems to be working but needs optimization.

You can find more about the Gingerbread port for Milestone at its original thread over XDA.
