Motorola Atrix Vs LG Optimus 2X – Dual Core Wars

Advertisements

LG might be the first company to launch an Android Smartphone sporting a dual core processor, but Motorola too managed to unveil its Atrix at CES 2011.

Today, we compare these two smartphones based on their specifications on paper. While both of them are still waiting to enter the market [except Korea where Optimus 2X is available], the initial previews suggest that people seem to be impressed with both of them.

Since Atrix won’t have 4G support in every market, we chose not to compare the phones on this basis.

Actually the camera in the lg is the 8mp one with the 1080 video capture. its the only phone on the market with this capability. not undermining the atrix, but fixing a mistake.

DUDE the spec for the optimus 2x are incorrect!! it actually has an 8mp camera & 1080p video recording. just sayin..

I find it hilarious that they say Motorola has 4G capabilities, when it’s closer to what we call Turbo-3G in Sweden (4G here has 80 Mbit/s connection).

Anyways, it’s going to be interesting to see what I’ll choose for my next phone. If I could mix-and-match, I’d take the camera from Sony Ericsson Arc, the video capture and size of LG Optimus 2X, the Tegra 2 dual core processor of LG and Motorola and the RAM and screen from Motorola Atrix.
