Handset manufacturer HTC is seeking to expand its share in China by launching its products on China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom.

The company, which was absent in the Chinese market earlier than last year, relied on its sales arm Dopod. The latter was unable to increase the market share, and thus HTC had to take back the control.

The Taiwanese firm is facing huge competition from Motorola and Samsung in the market along with Lenovo, which recently started a seperate mobile computing division.

By joining hands with the three telecom operators, HTC wishes to enhance its distribution efficiency.
