Verizon Thunderbolt images leaked; trademark filed

A truck load of Verizon Thunderbolt 4G images were delivered to Droid-Life earlier today. Considering the phone has already seen image leak tsunami, it was expected. HTC or Verizon, one of them really wants it to get a lot of press before actual announcement, which is happening at CES next month.

Now, it is almost certain that it will be called Verizon Thunderbolt, as company has filed a trademark application for the same name.

Verizon Thunderbolt will be the first LTE Android smartphone from HTC, and company is planning for more later in 2011.

Earlier named HTC Mecha, it was first leaked in August this year. The rumored specifications include 8 MP camera with dual LED flash, Android 2.2 with HTC Sense, 4.3 inch display, Front facing camera, 3.5 mm headphone jack and Kick stand.
