NVidia Tegra 2 is silently beginning to become the choice of processor for tablet computers.  According to a report in Digitimes, Acer, Asustek Computer, Toshiba and Samsung Electronics as well as several regional brand vendors in China, Germany and the UK, are all set to launch Tegra 2-based models.

The reports went on to further state that Tegra 2-based models will have chance to account for 50% of ARM-based tablet PC shipments in 2011.

We have recently seen Notion Ink’s Adam running on Tegra 2 including others, while several more are expected at CES 2011.
