Asus to launch Gingerbread powered Eee Pad in India next year

Asus has said that it will be launching Android powered Eee Pads in the first quarter of next year in India. Company will be introducing two versions of 10 inch Eee Pad, which will be running on Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread. One version will have high end specs, while the other one will come with entry-level and low end specifications.

Chen also said that these devices will come with a whole host of connectivity options such as 3G and WiMax apart from normal WiFi and Bluetooth.
