Soon after Marvell announced its partnership with Google for the use of ARMADA 1500 in Google TV devices, Google has officially detailed the list of new partners for TV solutions. According to a blog post, LG, Vizio, MediaTek, Marvell (already talked), Samsung and Sony (existing) will now be making hardware for Google TV. Most of the mentioned companies will be showcasing their products at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show.
Motorola launches Motoluxe, Defy Mini; coming this spring
Motorola has officially launched two new affordable Android smartphones MOTOLUXE and DEFY MINI today. These smartphones will be coming to Greater China, Europe and Latin America this spring.

Qualcomm’s Tegra Zone competitor Snapdragon GameCommand to launch at CES

Qualcomm has announced that Snapdragon GameCommand will be released in Android Market on January 10, which is the opening day of CES. Snapdragon GameCommand is Qualcomm’s version of NVIDIA’s Tegra Zone; it will allow Android users with devices powered by Snapdragon processor to discover and access the latest Snapdragon optimized games.
White Galaxy Nexus coming to UK on Feb 6 (update)

If the product listings at two UK online retailers are to be believed the white version of Galaxy Nexus will reach UK shores on February 6. While the specifications remain the same, you will get the white-washed Galaxy Nexus for 498GBP at Clove and 509GBP at Mobilefun.

With the closure of Intel’s Digital Home Group, it was inevitable for Google to go ARM’s way for its Google TV solutions. Until now, all the Google TV devices were powered by Intel’s CE4100 platform and it had decent share of problems (high silicon cost, high power consumption etc.)that somewhat were responsible for the disaster named Google TV.
Android Related Events at CES 2012 – Schedule
Waiting to find out what is in store for Android lovers at Consumer Electronics Show 2012, which is schedule to start next week. Officially CES 2012 will run from Jan 10-13, but we are expecting to see some Android action right from January 8.

Motorola Xoom 3G price goes down to INR 22,500 in India

Remember, we recently reported that Motorola has reduced the price of Xoom models in the Indian market. Well, it has been reduced even further, now online retailers like Flipkart and Letsbuy are selling the 3G version for INR 22,999 and INR 22,500 respectively. With this price-drop Xoom is certainly looking more enticing than ever.
