Xiaomi sub-brand Poco has launched two new smartphones as a part of its X-series in the country. Dubbed the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro, the new phones are packed with enticing features and specifications and will cater to the mid-range segment of consumers.
Poco X6, Poco X6 Pro price
Poco India has priced the X6 model at Rs. 21,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, whereas the 12GB + 256GB model will retail at Rs. 23,999, and the 12GB + 512GB model will sell for Rs. 22,999. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro price starts at Rs. 26,999 for the base 8GB RAM model. You can purchase the 12GB RAM model at Rs. 28,999.
These are the actual prices of the two phones, not some “net effective” nonsense that Xiaomi has started pulling these days.
In terms of availability, the two phones are currently on pre-order and will go on sale beginning January 16 via Flipkart. Notably, unlike the other variants, the 12GB + 256GB model of the Poco X6 will become available in February.
Poco has partnered with Flipkart and ICICI Bank to offer a Rs. 2,000 discount if you use your ICICI Bank credit or debit card to purchase the X6 or X6 Pro. Alternatively, you can get an exchange bonus of Rs. 2,000 by exchanging an old phone. Unfortunately, you can’t enjoy both offers together.
Poco X6 Pro, Poco X6 specifications
The Poco X6 and X6 Pro share some specifications, but quite a few differences exist. It’s also important to note that the X6 is essentially a clone of the new Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone with some changes.
The two phones feature 6.67-inch 1220p OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. You also get dual speakers, an under-display fingerprint sensor, IP54 splash-resistance, and 67W fast charging support.
In other specifications, the X6 has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, Android 13 with MIUI 14 (planned upgrade to HyperOS), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 5,100mAh battery.
The Poco X6 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a Mediatek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, HyperOS with Android 14, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The two phones also house a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie shooter. But the exact sensors and lenses in both phones are different.
