If you are considering buying something from Amazon or Flipkart, wait until January 13, when the two e-retailers kick off the latest round of their Republic Day sales. The Amazon sale, dubbed the Great Republic Day Sale 2024, goes live at midnight on January 13 for Prime members. Everyone else will get access to the discounts and deals at 12 noon on the same day, meaning after 12 hours. Similarly, Flipkart will open its Republic Day Sale 2024 at midnight on January 13 for Plus members and at 12 noon for the rest of the Flipkart users.
Republic Day sale duration
While Amazon hasn’t mentioned the last day of the Great Republic Day Sale, Flipkart says its sale will end on January 19. Amazon will likely follow suit. But as previous sales have shown, the offers and deals should continue until January 26, if not even after that. That said, it’s a good idea to capitalize on the offers during the official sale duration.

State Bank of India is the official Amazon Great Republic Day Sale 2024 bank partner. If you own a SBI credit card or debit card, you should get a 10% discount on shopping for Rs. 5,000 or more. The minimum cart balance may be different for some categories.
Flipkart has gone with ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda (BoB) for its Republic Day 2024 sale. So if you have an ICICI Bank/ BoB card, you will enjoy 10% discount given your cart satisfies the minimum purchase conditions.
