Just a day after Infinix, one of Transsion Holdings brand, launched its Zero 8i phone in India, Tecno, another of Transsion Holdings brand, has introduced the Pova mobile in the country. Tecno Pova is actually a more affordable phone than Infinix Zero 8i. Pova comes with features like MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and 6,000mAh battery. The new Tecno phone sports a hole-punch selfie camera design and comes with a gradient back pattern.
Tecno Pova price in India
Tecno has priced the Pova at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model in India. The 6GB + 128GB model will retail at Rs. 11,999. It will be offered in Magic Blue, Speed Purple and Dazzle Black colours. Pova’s sales will open December 11 at 12 noon via Flipkart in the country.

The Pova features a 6.8-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) screen with 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Additionally, you will get a rear fingerprint sensor, up to 128GB of onboard storage, and 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support in the new Tecno phone.
It also packs a quad camera setup on the back that houses a 16-megapixel shooter, two 2-megapixel snappers, and an AI-powered camera of unknown resolution. Up front, you get an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Among other specifications, there is a dedicated microSD card slot, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB 2.0 port.
The Tecno Pova runs on HiOS 7.0, based on Android 10. Lastly, it measures 171.23×77.57×9.4mm and weighs 215.5 grams.
The Pova will be going head to head with phones like Realme C3, Redmi 9 Prime, Realme Narzo 20, and Moto E7 Plus in the country.
