Samsung One UI 3 roll out starts with Galaxy S20 series, coming to more phones soon

Samsung has officially unveiled its latest version of the One UI – One UI 3. It comes with Android 11 upgrade and includes new user interface tweaks, camera software enhancements, new digital wellbeing tools, and Samsung Free that is a place to read news, place games, and watch shows. 

Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra are now getting the One UI 3 update with Android 11 in South Korea, the US, and most of the Europe. The update will be expanded to more countries over the coming weeks, including India.

“The upgrade reinforces Samsung’s commitment to quickly provide the latest innovations to consumers, as part of the pledge to support three generations of OS upgrades for millions of devices,” Samsung said in a statement

Samsung says One UI will also reach phones from Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold in the coming weeks. The much popular Galaxy A series will get One UI in the first half of 2021. All these phones are just a part of the devices that will get One UI 3 update and it will “become supported on additional devices on a rolling basis”.

The schedule for One UI upgrades will be shared in notices on the Samsung Members app. So, if you are curious about the One UI 3 update for your Samsung phone, download the app from Google Play store and you will be notified when the update is going to be available for your device.
