Infinix Zero 8i with Helio G90T SoC launched in India

Infinix Zero 8i on Thursday made its India debut. This new smartphone from the brand owned by China’s Transsion Holdings comes with mid-range specifications and was originally introduced in Pakistan in October this year. The Zero 8i features MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, 4,500mAh battery, and Android 10. It also packs four cameras on the back and dual shooters on the front. The phone uses hole-punch display design for the selfie shooters.

Infinix Zero 8i has received a promotional pricing of Rs. 14,999. It is unclear at this point what price tag will the phone be sold after this promotional period. The phone will be offered in a single storage variant – 8GB + 128GB – and  two colour options – Silver Diamond and Black Diamond. The sales of the new Infinix phone kick off December 9 via Flipkart.

Coming to the full specifications of the phone, Infinix Zero 8i runs on XOS 7, based on Android 11, and features a 6.85-inch full-HD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. As mentioned earlier, it is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. It also includes a 4,5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Further, there are four cameras on the back of the new phone – 48-megapixel main shooter with f/1.79 aperture, 8-megapixel shooter with ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI-powered camera of unknown resolution. The selfie camera setup includes a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter. 

Among other specifications of the new mobile, you will get 128GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, and DTS-HD surround sound support.

The Infinix mobile measures 168.74×76.08×9.07mm and weighs 210.5 grams.
