Motorola Moto G 5G was launched in India on Monday as the latest addition to the Lenovo-owned company’s phone portfolio. Moto G 5G joins the growing list of 5G-supporting phones in the country even though there is no 5G available and won’t be in the near future. Apart from 5G, it is your typical mid-range phone that is powered by Qualcomm’s relatively newer Snapdragon 750G SoC.
Moto G 5G price in India
Motorola has priced the Moto G 5G at Rs. 20,999 in India for the lone 6GB + 128GB model. The phone will go on sale starting December 7 at 12 noon via Flipkart in the country. It will be offered in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Grey colours. In terms of sale offers, HDFC Bank customers will get Rs. 1,000 discount on credit card and EMI purchases.

In terms of the specifications, Moto G 5G sports hole-punch display design with the selfie camera cutout placed in the centre. The phone packs a 6.7-inch full-HD+ screen that supports HDR10. As mentioned, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 619 GPU. It runs on Android 10 operating system.
The phone features a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W TurboPower fast charging. Further, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone, 128GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot in the Moto G 5G.
For the imaging needs, Motorola has included a triple rear camera setup that is headlined by a 48-megapixel shooter with f/1.7 aperture. Other cameras in the rear setup are 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle snapper with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front that has f/2.2 aperture.
Among other specifications, you will get a USB Type-C port, single loudspeaker, 3.5mm audio jack, two microphones, IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. Motorola has added dual-SIM support, 5G and 4G connectivity, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 5.1 for the connectivity needs.
