Vivo V20 Pro will launch in India on December 2, the Chinese smartphone maker has finally announced. The phone was earlier rumoured to launch on November 25 but that didn’t happen. Now that Vivo itself has revealed the launch date, the consumers can rest easy. The upcoming Vivo phone will join the V20 and V20 SE phones in the company’s India portfolio, thus completing the entire lineup. Vivo V20 Pro is a mid-range phone that comes with specifications like Snapdragon 765G SoC and 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The phone also features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and runs on Funtouch OS 11, based on Android 11. It has three cameras on the back, including a 64-megapixel main shooter. Other two cameras are 8-megapixel wide-angle and 2-megapixel monochrome. For selfies, Vivo has added two cameras on the front, headlined by a 44-megapixel main shooter. The secondary front camera resolution is 8-megapixel.

Other specifications of the Vivo mobile include 8GB of RAM, 128GB of onboard storage, 5G support, dual-SIM connectivity, USB Type-C port, and in-display fingerprint sensor. Vivo V20 Pro will be offered in Midnight Jazz, Sunset Melody, and Moonlight Sonata colour options.
It is a rather light phone at 170 grams for its display size and measures 158.82×74.20×7.39mm.
Vivo V20 Pro price in India (expected)
Since we are still a few days away from the official launch date, the official pricing remains a mystery. However, it is reportedly going to retail under Rs. 30,000 in India, down from its THB 14,999 (roughly Rs. 35,300) price tag in Thailand, where it was launched in September this year.
There is no word on the exact launch time for V20 Pro but it will most likely get introduced at 12 noon, probably via a virtual launch event.
