Asus on Thursday launched the new Zenfone 4-series at a press event in Rome for the European markets. The company stated that it will be releasing the Asus Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Pro, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Max phones. The model-specific availability will vary market to market, like in the UK, Asus is only offering the Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Max initially.
“We are very thrilled to announce the availability of the ZenFone 4 family to all of Europe. Our ZenFone 4 Series comes with the best dual cameras, and photography and connectivity features to change the way you document and share every precious moment with your friends and family,” said Jerry Shen, CEO, Asus at the event.
Asus hasn’t had the best of luck in cracking the European markets, especially the ones with operator dominance. Still, the company is hoping the Zenfone 4’s imaging chops will help it sell to the consumers. The company will be releasing its phones via its own store, Amazon as well as leading retailers in different markets.
