Samsung Galaxy Note 8 goes on sale in 42 countries

Samsung, the South Korean smartphone giant, has announced that its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone is now on sale in 42 countries across the world. The company noted that the consumers in US, Canada, Singapore, Korea and major European markets can now head over to Samsung stores and other retailers to grab their Note 8 unit. The roll-out will continue over the coming weeks. India is scheduled to get the phone on September 21.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was unveiled last month and has been on pre-order in most markets for the past couple of weeks. Most pre-order customers will start receiving their Note 8 shipments today if they haven’t already got them.

According to Samsung, it had a pretty great pre-order season for Note 8, hitting the most-ever pre-orders for any Note smartphone.

To remind you, Note 8 is a high-end smartphone with features like 6.3-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen, octa-core processor, 6-gigabytes of RAM, 3300 mAh battery and Android Nougat. Additionally, you get the S-Pen stylus like all Note-series device.
