After rolling out the Nougat update for Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphone, Samsung India has now released the Android 7.0 update for Galaxy A5 (2017). The phone is now getting the over-the-air (OTA) update in the country and it will automatically reach your Galaxy A5. However, if you don’t get an OTA notification, head over to Settings > About Phone > Software update to manually check for the update.
The OTA update is 1386MB in size and carries the firmware version A520FXXUBQI5. According to Samsung, you can expect to see a new user interface, improved usability of the notification feature and quick settings as well as better implementation of multi-window. In addition, the latest update carries dual messenger, improved settings menu, new emojis, Samsung pass, and a lot more.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) was launched back in March in the country. It features a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 16MP f1.9 primary and secondary cameras as well as an octa-core processor.
