According to Smartfren Telecom, the Andromax Q is a part of the company’s new Andromax line-up of 4G LTE smartphones and will carry a price-tag of Rp 1,299,000 ($97). As you can guess from the affordable pricing, Andromax Q is an entry-level smartphone with specifications like 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB of RAM.
The phone also comes with 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2000 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and 4G LTE. In addition, the company has included 5MP primary camera with LED flash and 2MP secondary shooter in the smartphone.
According to Smartfren executive Sukaca Purwokardjono, Andromax Q will be followed by more Cyanogen OS smartphones from the company. He however did not share any details about the future devices.
Andromax Q is Indonesia’s second Cyanogen OS smartphone after OnePlus One, which was released on e-retailer Lazada in January this year. In addition to Smartfren Telecom, Cyanogen has also worked with device makers like OnePlus, Yu Televentures, and Alcatel OneTouch.
