nubia, a boutique smartphone brand from China’s ZTE, will be releasing the nubia Z9 smartphone in the United States in Q3 this year. The phone will be available at select retailers and nubia.cn in Black and Gold colour options.
Originally unveiled a month ago in China, nubia Z9 sports a 5.2-inch full HD display with non-existent bezel on the sides and is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor. Other specifications of the phone include 16MP f2.0 primary camera with OIS, 8MP f2.4 front shooter, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, and USB-OTG support. The Z9 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with nubia UI.

According to nubia, it will be offering three variants of the Z9 in the US – Classic, Elite, Exclusive. Classic with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will retail at $564, Elite with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage has been priced at $645, and Exclusive with the addition of fingerprint sensor technology will be available at $725.
