Today seems to be the day for 4G smartphones in India. After Micromax introduced its first 4G phone, Intex has announce the released of its first smartphone with 4G LTE support. Dubbed as Intex Aqua 4G+, the smartphone has been priced at INR 9,499 and is now available in the country.
“At Intex, we are happy to now beckon a huge leap in its product portfolio by offering enhanced specifications and features in the newly launched Aqua 4G+ that simply caters to the fast emerging technological necessities in the market at a remarkable price. This innovative product comes across as a package of smart designing, tactical pricing and youthful colors all packaged for our target consumer,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.
Intex Aqua 4G+ packs a 5-inch HD display and is powered by MediaTek’s MT6735 quad-core processor. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and includes 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot.
Among other specifications, the Intex’s 4G smartphone features dual-SIM support, 2300 mAh battery, 13MP primary camera, 5MP secondary shooter and the usual set of connectivity options.
According to Intex, it has also added several software enhancements in the phone like live camera filters, simultaneous front and rear camera PIP mode, power saving mode, and support for 21 Indian languages.
