If you somehow don’t like Intel Atom chips, you will soon have plenty of Zenfone 2 variants with Qualcomm processors

In addition to the 6-inch Snapdragon 615-powered Zenfone 2 variant, about which we told you on June 2, Asus is demoing two Qualcomm Snapdragon 410-powered variants of its flagship smartphone at the ongoing Computex trade fair in Taiwan. There is no word on when these new variants will be available in the markets, but we can expect see them in stores over the coming weeks.
Let’s start with the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550KL, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display with Gorilla Glass 4 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. The phone will also come with 2GB of RAM, Android 5.0 with Zen UI, 13MP rear camera with laser auto-focus 16GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot. It is pretty much the same phone as Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML apart from the different SOC, newer Gorilla Glass and laser auto-focus.
The details of Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500KL are unclear, but it is said to be packing a 5-inch 720p HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.
