“We’re happy to share we’ve now rolled out the capability globally, with the exception of a few countries we’re still working on improving quality for,” wrote Facebook’s David Marcus in a post.
Originally launched in April 2015 with just 18 markets, the Messenger video-calling feature allows users to video-chat with other Messengers users on Android and iOS. There is no support for desktop to mobile video chat or vice-versa right now, as the former is powered by Skype and the latter is Facebook’s own solution.
