HTC India has announced that it has started rolling out Android 5.0 update for four of its smartphones – Desire 816, Desire eye, One E8 and One (M7) dual-SIM. We had already told you about the Desire 816 update on Wednesday.

The Lollipop update for these HTC phones is now live over-the-air (OTA) and you can manually look for it by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update. Like most Android updates, the Lollipop for Desire eye, One E8 and One (M7) dual-SIM is also being pushed in batches, so not everyone will get it right-away. The update roll-out is expected to complete over the next few days.

According to HTC, the update brings Android 5.0 changes like performance enhancements, UI tweaks, notification enhancements, lock-screen tweaks as well as search function in settings and recent apps UI upgrade.

If you have already updated your HTC smartphone, do let us know about the experience.
