Mobidia provides mobile usage intelligence on 100,000 apps in 60 countries, including India and App Annie hopes to capitalise the company’s partnerships to get established in the new markets..

“We realized that if we work with them, we can go bigger sooner,” Bertrand Schmitt, CEO and Co-founder, App Annie told The Wall Street Journal.

Mobidia is the second such acquisition for App Annie. The company has purchased Distimo last year, which also offered mobile analytics to developers and other clients.
