Xiaomi introduces Mi 4i in Hong Kong & Singapore

After India, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched the new Mi 4i smartphone in Hong Kong and Singapore today. The phone will go on sale in both markets on May 12.

Originally announced on April 23 in the Indian capital New Delhi, Mi 4i is a mid-range smartphone and comes with specifications such as 5-inch full HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor.

The Mi 4i runs on Android 5.0-based MIUI v6 and include 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front shooter, 3120 mAh battery and 4G LTE support.

The smartphone is also dual-SIM and supports the usual connectivity options.

According to Xiaomi, Mi 4i will retail at HK$1,599 in Hong Kong and S$279 in Singapore. The phone will initially be released in White colour option and there is no word the availability of other colours like Pink, Blue, and Yellow. Registrations for the first sale of Mi 4i are now open in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
