Xiaomi Mi 4i getting first software update

Advertisements

Xiaomi has already released the first software update for the new Mi 4i smartphone. The update notification will pop up for most consumers as they connect their brand-new smartphone to the internet for the first time.

Over 805MB in size, the update doesn’t bring any new major features, however there are several minor additions as well as bug-fixes relating to MIUI v6. The update carries build number MIUI v6.5.3.0.LXIMICD.

To manually look for the update, head over the updater app, which can be found in the tools folder present on the home-screen. You can check out the full change-log in the screenshots at the end of the report.

To remind you, Mi 4i is Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, which carries a price-tag of INR 12,999. It went on sale for the first time last week in the country via the company’s trademark flash sale.

If you have updated your Mi 4i, do let us know about the experience in the comments.

That’s correct! Update was smooth! Prompted for restart.
However, any idea, of where to look for Mi4i accessories – Cases n Covers, to start with?
