Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India

Lenovo has started rolling out Android 5.0 update for the Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. The update is now available over-the-air and can be manually checked by going to Settings > About Phone > System update.

The Lollipop update is a hefty 1.23GB in size, so it would be preferable if you use a good Wi-Fi connection to download it.

The official change-log is not available but you can expect to see material design changes, improvements to Lenovo’s Vibe UI, enhanced notifications, ART as default runtime and more.

Originally launched in India in September last year, Lenovo’s Vibe Z2 Pro includes a 6-inch Quad-HD display, Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM and 4000 mAh battery. The phone was introduced with Android 4.4 & Vibe UI 2.0. Android 5.0 is the first major update for the smartphone.
