Micromax launches Canvas Tab P480 tablet at INR 6,999

Micromax has added a new Android tablet to its portfolio in the Indian market. The new Canvas Tab P480 has been priced at INR 6,999 and will go on sale this week in Blue and White colour options. It will be available in both physical stores as well as at e-retailers.

The Canvas Tab P480 sports a 7-inch 1024x600p IPS display and runs on Android 4.4. The company has promised to release the Lollipop update for the device soon. The company has integrated a number of software enhancements in the tablet like Quicklook for social media updates and news items and Camera widget for quick access to various camera modes on home-screen.

Among other specifications, the P480 comes with dual-SIM support with voice-calling, 3000 mAh battery, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot. Micromax has also packed 5MP auto-focus rear camera, 2MP fixed-focus shooter, 3G and the usual set of connectivity options in the tablet.
