iBall launches Cobalt Oomph 4.7D smartphone at INR 7,999

iBall has released yet another Android smartphone in the country. The new iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D (where does iBall get such names) is an entry-level smartphone and carries a price-tag of INR 7,999.

According to the company, it will be available in the coming days in White-Gold and Black-Metallic Grey colour options.

The iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D features a 4.7-inch HD display, quad-core 1.3GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs 8GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 8MP auto-focus primary camera and 5MP front shooter.

Other specifications of the phone include 1850 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and the usual set of connectivity options.

iBall has noted that the Cobalt Oomph 4.7D is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be receiving the update in the coming months.

Meanwhile, iBall has listed two unannounced smartphones – Andi Uddaan Quadcore and Andi5 Stallion+ on its official website. The pricing and availability details of both phones remain unclear at this point.
