We finally have the marketing name for the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone. As per sightings in a Singapore regulator website and GeekBench database, the phone will be known as Xiaomi Mi 4i. It was earlier known with its codename “Ferrari” and will be unveiled at the April 23 Xiaomi event, as we had reported recently.
The Mi 4i branding also matches with the “i is coming” title of the Xiaomi teaser about the smartphone, thus giving further credibility to the name.
The new leaks haven’t revealed any new information about the phone, but we already know quite a bit. The phone will feature a 4.9-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will also come with 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter and the usual set of connectivity options.
We expect to hear about the pricing and availability details next week in New Delhi, when Xiaomi for the first time introduces a new device outside China.

Only Android 5.0 can take full advantage of the 64 bit processor.. That is one area, where Lollipop kills KitKat, imho…
