LG has announced that it is beginning the Lollipop update roll-out for G Pad series in South Korea. According to the company, the LG G Pad 8.0 will be the first tablet to get the update in the next few days, followed by roll-out for G Pad 7.0 and G Pad 10.1 by the end of this month. LG G Pad 8.3 will get the Android 5.0 update in mid-April.

LG has stated that G Pad users in Korea can visit the company website to get more information about the update.

The company has not shared the full change-log at this point, but it has stated that G Pad users can expect material design changes, ART as default runtime and performance enhancements.

There is no word on the release of the update for international versions of the tablets, but we don’t see why it will take long.
