Indian smartphone vendor XOLO has introduced a new run of the mill budget Android smartphone in the country. Dubbed as XOLO Q1001, the smartphone is a part of the company’s Qcore-series, which includes devices with quad-core CPUs at core.

The XOLO Q1001 can be grabbed from e-retailer Snapdeal.com at INR 5,789 and is also available at brick-and-mortar stores.

For almost INR 6K, you will be getting a 5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor and Android 4.4. The phone also packs dual-SIM support, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front shooter, and 2000 mAh battery. In addition, XOLO has included the usual set of connectivity options, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.

You will be better off spending your money on Android One smartphones or you can choose to buy the new Moto E or Motorola Redmi 2 smartphones at INR 6,999. Asus’s Zenfone C at INR 5,999 is also not a bad choice.

The XOLO Q1001 smartphone was first spotted by Fone Arena at the company website.
