The smartphone will succeed the company’s Xperia M2 Aqua phone, which was introduced in August last year. Like its predecessor, Xperia M4 Aqua will also be water and dust-proof with IP65/68 rating.
According to one source, Xperia M4 Aqua will run Android 5.0 Lollipop. Other specifications of the smartphone are a mystery at this point, but we believe the phone will sport a 5-inch 720p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 2300 mAh battery.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua will go on sale in Q2 of 2015 for somewhere between GBP 200 and 250.
With the Mobile World Congress 2015 less than a week away, we will soon get a confirmation on the specifications as well as availability.
