Xiaomi has started over-the-air roll-out of the MIUI 6.0 system update for Redmi Note 4G smartphone in the Indian market. You can now check for the update by going to Mi Updater app or Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
Over 570MB in size, the update bring MIUI 6-specific changes to the update, but is there is no Android version upgrade. To remind you, MIUI 6 brings a number of improvements like enhanced notifications, better security functions, improved email app, upgraded notifications shade, UI improvements, and more.

Now, that Xiaomi has released MIUI 6 for Mi 3 and Redmi Note 4G, it will direct its attention to Redmi Note 3G and Redmi 1S smartphones, which are scheduled to get the update in late-March.
