Amazon India is offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone for just INR 17,999 for a limited period. You can get either the White version of the phone or the Black Edition, which is slightly different from the former, but much better looking.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition was originally unveiled over eight months after the original Galaxy S4 launch and sports a faux-leather back instead of the glossy plastic back present on the normal Galaxy S4. The specifications of both Black Edition and normal Galaxy S4 remain the same.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 and 2600 mAh battery. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. Samsung has already released Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the phone in the country.
For the given price-tag, Galaxy S4 is a quite decent option, especially the Black edition.

It is a very good deal. But actually this is not an exclusive offer from Amazon. Samsung officially slashed price of Galaxy S4 in India.
Excited about S6? But can’t afford S5? Simply buy a S4. The price is good considering S5 was a mild upgrade over S4 packing in a bunch of sensors with most of the internals remain same yet the S5 sells for 30k+ odd rupess. But at the same time Samsung selling a 2yr old mobile is kind of odd, when they should be removing it so the new E-series gets all the attention it needs.
