Asus showcases 5-inch Zenfone 2 in Taiwan: Report

Asus might not have officially announced the 5-inch version of its Zenfone 2 smartphone, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped the company from showcasing it at a recent press event in Taiwan. The company has not revealed any details of about the 5-inch Zenfone 2 at this point, but it is said to come with 2GB of RAM, HD display, Intel Atom processor, Android 5.0 With Zen UI and 4G LTE.

An online report also suggests that one variant of 5-inch Zenfone 2 will be powered by Qualcomm processor. It is unclear whether the 5.5-inch version will also get a variant with Qualcomm chip.

In related news, Asus Zenfone 2 will go on sale in Taiwan on March 9, but in limited quantity. The phone will have expanded availability beginning March 20.
