After getting leaked on a UK retailer website, the second-generation Moto E smartphone has now appeared on the US retailer Best Buy website. The smartphone is still not available for purchase, but Best Buy has revealed the pricing as well as key specifications of the phone.
According to the Moto E (2nd Gen) product listing, the phone will feature a 4.5-inch qHD (960x540p) display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor (exact SoC unconfirmed) and Android 5.0 Lollipop. As you can see, all these features have improved from the last version, which included a dual-core CPU, 4.3-inch screen and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The second-gen Moto E will also come with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera and VGA front shooter. On the connectivity front, Motorola seems to be including 4G LTE support, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth in the smartphone.
Best Buy has also noted that the Moto E2 will retail for $99.99, but the exact availability details still remain a mystery. We are expect to see an official announcement in the next few days, which should make the launch details clear.
