Continuing to be one of few Indian smartphone vendors, who care about software updates, XOLO has released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Q610s smartphone. The update is now available as a manual download on the company website and we expect the over-the-air (OTA) roll-out to begin in the coming days.

If you don’t want to wait for the OTA, the manual installation process is quite simple. You can find the full guide from XOLO at their website. It has also been embedded later in the post.

Although XOLO hasn’t shared an official change-log, you can expect to see UI improvements, enhanced notifications, ART as defult runtime, better performance, guest mode and more in the phone after the Lollipop update.

Originally launched in August last year, XOLO Q610s comes with Android 4.4 KitKat on-board and had received only one software update until now.
