According to HTC, Desire 626 features a 5-inch 720p HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and 1GB of RAM. The phone also packs 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2000 mAh battery and 4G LTE support. On the imaging front, HTC has included a 13MP f2.2 rear snapper with BSI sensor and LED flash as well as a 5MP front shooter with BSI sensor.
There is no confirmation on the Android version on the smartphone, but it is most likely KitKat with Sense 6.0.
With the launch of Desire 626, HTC is hoping to garner a 25 percent share of the sub-NT$5000 smartphone segment this year.
