According to Amazon, limited units of the smartphone are going to be put on sale, so if you plan to get the phone on Tuesday, be sure to be quick.
Originally introduced in the country in December 2014, the OnePlus One is normally sold on an invite basis, but the company is celebrating the ten weeks of its existence in the Indian market, thus the open sale. Following the Feb 10 open sale, the phone will continue to be available via the normal invite sales.
To remind you, OnePlus One is an aggressively-priced high-end smartphone, which is often touted as the flagship killer. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM. The phone also packs 64GB of internal storage and 3100 mAh battery. The phone currently runs on Android 4.4-based Cyanogen OS, but is expected to get Android 5.0-based OnePlus’ OxygenOS sometime in the coming weeks.
