Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 6 update for Mi 3 in India

As promised, Xiaomi has started pushing Android 4.4-based MIUI 6 update for Mi 3 smartphone in the Indian market. The update is now available over-the-air and will automatically reach your smartphone. You can also check for the update manually by going to the Updater application.

Over 540MB in size, the MIUI V6.3.2.0.KXDIBL update brings a number of improvements like improved notifications, better security functions, enhanced email app, enhanced notifications shade, UI improvements, and more.

In related news, Xiaomi is expected to release the same update for Redmi Note 4G smartphone next week in the country. Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 3G version will get MIUI 6 in early March.
