After rolling out Android 5.0 update for G3 in several markets, LG is finally ready to bring it to the United States. The company on Friday started teasing the update on its official Twitter account, but did not share any specifics.

Although there is no word on the date of Lollipop update roll-out for G3 US variants, but we expect it to arrive in the coming week.

Official update change-log is not available at this point, but you can expect to see the usual Android 5.0 goodies like performance enhancements, battery improvements, material design changes, UI changes, ART as default runtime, guest mode, enhanced notifications, and more.
